Touch- Lunchtime Sport

Our Room 5 team have won their pool and progressed through to the semi finals of the inter class Lunchtime Sport tournament for Touch. We beat Rooms 1 and 16 both with the scores of 7 nil, Room 11 got beaten 4 nil, and we won over Room 19 with the score 2-1. We unfortunately had to play the awesome team from Room 3 in the semi, and although we played really well, we lost 2 nil. They only scored once (girls score double points) and the game was exciting with play moving rapidly up and down the field at great pace. The other semi was played between Rooms 10 and 21 and went to a drop off when the scores were tied 0-0 at full time. In the end, with only 3 players from each team left on the field, Room 10 scored to win the game! So the final next term is between Rooms 3 and 10.

2010 V2 Cars

The class constructed their box cars for entry into the different categories for the school wide competition having a lot of fun, and leading to the eventual winner in the race category.

V2 Super Cars

A clear cut victory for the Room 5 team this year in the school V2 Super Cars competition after being denied first placing last year. This year's team consisted of Hamish Carter, Sheridan Tuimaseve, Jaimie Jefferson and Logan Pollard, and they convincingly won their heat, and then won the final by the length of the home strait! A huge margin for the win! In 2009, the team were relegated to second after the box car came to pieces during the final. So redemption in 2010 with a much stronger car.
